Ballpoint Pens
French glass-nib fountain pen from the 1940s
A remarkable glass-nib fountain pen from the 1940s, made in France in celluloid, lever-filling system.
This type of nib was mainly used during the Second World War, as it replaced gold, which had become scarcer.
These glass nibs are rarely found in good condition; they are regarded as the forerunner of the ballpoint pen.
Smooth writing, between medium and fine.
